Janette's Chocolate Drink recipe

Ingredients for chocolate drink

Serves: 2-6 (depending on cup size)

180g dark 70% chocolate chips
500ml milk
50ml water
50ml of full fat crème fraîche


Prep:5min › Cook:2min › Ready in:10min

Melt the chocolate with the water in a pan over a low heat.
When smooth and shiny, stir in the milk and bring to the boil for for 2 mins.
Remove from heat and decant into cups.
Tip - unless you have a very sweet tooth try it first, as very few people need this sweetened.
Finally drop in the crème fraîche and allow it to melt.

Optional grown up version. Stir in a splash of whisky, rum or brandy (whichever is your favourite tipple) before adding the crème fraîche.
