Choosing and Ordering

There are two ways to purchase chocolate products from the Chocolate Gourmet website:
(1) www.chocolategourmet.co.uk - The site has been designed to provide a truly enjoyable experience. Please see below our brief guide to navigating the Chocolate Gourmet website.


(2) By phone - Please do not hesitate to call us to place an order or request further information; our friendly staff are always on hand to help in Ludlow available on 01584 879 332 or Shrewsbury on 01743 343477.

Step 1 - searching for chocolates

You will be presented with a page containing our product ranges. To begin with simply select the particular range you would like to view and click for further details.

Step 2 - selection

Once you have selected the item you would like to buy then select the size of the box and quantity and add to your basket. You can continue shopping by clicking the relevant button.

Step 3 - view basket

Once you have finished shopping click on the shopping cart and proceed to the basket page. You will see a summary of the products you have selected, with details of individual and total price of selected items. If you would like to view one of the chocolate products in the list again simply click the description and the relevant page will appear. If you have a coupon code simply type it into the 'Coupon code' box and click 'Apply Coupon'.
You can remove, change and delete chocolate items here and update the basket. When you are happy with your selection you can proceed to the checkout. The shipping calculator allows you to choose either UK or Europe - please choose a country from the dropdown selection.
N.B. - maximum of 2kg weight allowance to European destinations.

Step 4 - enter details

If you are an existing user you may be asked to login using your username and password. If you are a new user, please enter your personal details.

Step 5 - enter personal message or relevant notes

If you would like to write a personal message, or have a particular requirement, please fill in details and we will endeavour to arrange it for you. If we are unable to fulfil the request we will contact you accordingly.
Where standard Royal Mail is used we are unable to specify a delivery date, however, if you choose any of the 'Special Delivery' options, please specify delivery date in the notes section of the checkout page.

Step 6 - confirmation

A confirmation screen will appear. Please check the details carefully and add any special notes or personal messages. Proceed by ticking the 'I've read and accept the terms & conditions' box and click 'Place order' to proceed. The system will then transfer you to our payment gateway provider WorldPay. WorldPay will ask for your card details and, if successful you will proceed to our confirmation page and an email receipt will be dispatched (please print a copy and keep safe). If unsuccessful, you will be presented with a message with instructions on how to proceed. Our web site uses a leading third party payment gateway that stores data which is encrypted (payment card industry audited). This ensures that you can shop with complete peace of mind and confidence.

Step 7 - credit card payments

The name and billing address given must be the same as that registered with your card supplier.
